2 different frequencies for 2 different modes
Doctor Tecar Therapy devices, thanks to Mectronic's Real Time Switching technology, are able to emit different frequencies.
Doctor Tecar Smart has 2: 448 kHz and 750 kHz, thanks to which it is possible to treat different types of tissue at different depths. In fact, the device can work in both resistive and capacitive modes, guaranteeing optimal therapeutic results.
RESISTIVE MODE
The lowest frequency (448 kHz) flows through the resistive parts of the body, i.e. joints, ligaments, tendons and bones.
CAPACITIVE MODE
The highest frequency (750 kHz) flows through the capacitive parts of the human body, i.e. the muscles and areas with high fluid content.
2 emission modes
Doctor Tecar Smart offers two different types of emission modes: continuous emission (CW) and pulsed emission (PULS). Each one presents unique advantages and features and allows the operator to be in full control of the therapy with just a few simple settings.
CONTINUOUS EMISSION (CW)
Allows constant delivery of tecar power, transferring a controlled amount of energy to the tissues directly affected by the therapy.
PULSED EMISSION (PULS)
Delivery takes place at regular time intervals, preventing an excessive rise in internal temperature and enabling the treatment of acute phase pathologies.
Biotransfer system to modulate therapy
Doctor Tecar Smart is equipped with an innovative system that measures the amount of energy transferred to the tissues in the treated anatomical area, in relation to the time and power supplied. This amount of energy is shown to the therapist on the display and communicated with an acoustic signal.
The Biotransfer system makes it possible to assess active hyperemia and the resulting increase in electrolyte flow, as it shows the change in electrical impedance during treatment compared to the initial resting value. This variation lasts until after the end of treatment, ensuring correct and continuous oxygenation of all treated tissue components.

Automatic AVx mode
This mode is designed to allow the therapist to be independent. While the automatic mode is running, the therapist can also perform other treatments on the same patient, optimising time and further expanding the therapeutic possibilities of Doctor Tecar Smart.
In addition, the special cable and three electrodes make it possible to treat even the most complexly shaped areas of the body.
Mectronic always puts patient safety first: the device is equipped with a safety button to interrupt therapy at any time.

The management of therapy has never been easier!
Thanks to the 7" touchscreen display, the MecOS 5.0 system guides the operator in managing the therapy in a simple and intuitive way, guaranteeing excellent results from the very first use.
Doctor Tecar Smart also includes the innovative SSDTS (Soft Start Doctor Tecar System), which gradually delivers energy only after the contact has been made.
The SSDTS system makes therapy extremely effective, safe and controlled, avoiding the risk of annoying shocks.
Automatic therapy management thanks to automatic AVx mode
In automatic AVx mode, the treatment guide shows in detail how to perform the treatment in automatic AVx mode, showing the electrode geometry in order to optimise therapeutic performance.
Specific protocols for each therapeutic effect
Doctor Tecar Smart sets the right therapy for each therapeutic effect. On the treatment screen, in fact, the operator can choose the anatomical section to be treated and the effect he or she wants to obtain on it between: biostimulating, anti-inflammatory, anti-oedema, analgesic and decontracting.
A Library for all common pathologies
Doctor Tecar Smart has a Library with over 30 therapy protocols to treat the most common problems. The software also offers the security of instant visual control, as it shows power, emission mode, therapy time and treatment area.
Time mode
Allows the therapist to set a specific time period for therapy. When the set value is reached, therapy stops automatically.
Joule mode
It allows the therapist to set the specific amount of energy required for treatment. When the set value is reached, therapy stops automatically.
